We’re excited to share the official news that Kiwisaver fund Booster has made a significant capital investment in ARWC and has also acquired Waimea Family Estate Wines from the Nelson region to place in partnership with us.
Waimea Family Estate Wines was founded by the Bolitho family in 1993, which has driven a well-established, successful operation that has a number of synergies with ARWC, including a strong ethos around family and integrity.
The investment enables:
- Louis Vavasour to deliver his vision for the business he founded in 2007
- a focus on pushing boundaries to optimise quality, secure supply from key vineyards including developing special Vavasour family land sites, and create exciting new wines
- the ability to meet a broader spread of evolving consumer preferences – with the addition of the Waimea Estates and Spinyback brands to ARWC’s portfolio, we can now offer over 10 varietals across six premium brands at different price points from two NZ regions, that both deliver to, and are distinct from, typical Marlborough/NZ wines
From here, it is business as usual for both companies as we look to build on the Bolitho family’s success and ensure continuity at Waimea Family Estate Wines, while continuing to grow the ARWC business.
This is great vote of confidence in ARWC and Louis Vavasour.
